Currently I am shooting with my FujiFilm X-T3 mirrorless camera. I love this retro film-style camera body that Fuji offers, as well as the compact size that I need for traveling.

My lense collections continue to grow. Among my favorites include the Viltrox 85mm f1.8, Viltrox 33mm f1.4, and the Fujifilm 18-55mm f2.8. The Viltrox lens is an amazing portrait lens for photographers that want high quality images without breaking the bank.

Lighting equipment plays an essential role for me, whether during day-time shooting or night-time. For continuous lighting, I utilize a main key light and a single highlight. The SmallRig RC120B with an Aperture Lantern style softbox, providing a wide aray of harsh or soft lighting options. Additionally for travel, I bring along my Godox TT350 flash, a perfectly compact, run and gun flash for me when on the go.
My camera gear obsession began by borrowing my dad's Nikon D5000 series for my first few years. I brough that camera everywhere. Although not the most portable, the D5000 series DSLRs are very versatile and provide decent image quality at their price point.

The Nikon D5600 is a perfect entry level camera with flip out touch screen, tons of photo & video features, and WiFi so you can edit on the go!

For lenses, I would recommend either the Nikon 35mm f.18G DX or the Nikon 85mm f.18G. Both of these lenses offer great depth of field and nice bokeh. Choosing between the two depends on your style of shooting as well as your price point.

The most important gear I could recommend would be dedicating your TIME. Just keep shooting and you will quickly learn what gear you want for the type of photography/videography you find yourself enjoying the most.
